Okay so i've never written a journal before, i dont know why, never thought i had anything to say here that anyone might want to hear, but recently a certain something came into my life which i think is pertinent to dA: my new Nikon d80

SO thrilled i finally got a proffesional cam, or DSLR i should say. Still learning the ins and outs, but i shall get the hang of it soon enough .

This weekend i had a get-together with my friends kinda for my birthday (was awesome, i love my friends SO much <3, and sweet 17 is the new sweet 16 for me, because this b-day kicked ass xD ), and we were snapping pics left right and center (560 pics in 24 hours ). I find it very funny how suddenly everyone becomes a photographer when they have a camera in their hands, and i dont just mean snapping pics of people. My one friend def felt that to have such a nice piece of equipment in his hands warranted some nice pics, so he tried to be creative and snapped macro pics of all the plants in my house did a pretty good job too

Anyways, had some good times, love the cam, never had a more proffesional piece of equipment, is truly a work of art in itself, and im excited to get rolling on picture taking. Although my dA profi is already majoritarily photos, i dont see the harm in some more
